I'm looking to get into playing the bass, I've always liked that line (I play baritone sax) and wanted to get into a new instrument after I dropped out of HS band (I'm still in the jazz band, playing my bari).
I'm pretty sure Guitar Hero had a lot to do with this too...
I'm looking at some basses to save up to get, but I'll post them in the bass forum.
