Trace Elliot or Ashdown Amp head?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have recently joined a 6 piece function band doing weddings and anniversaries etc. Something i have never done before which I'm very excited about! Obviously i will have to provide for any kind/size venue within reason. I recently decided that i was going to get a Trace Elliot AH500-7 so went and bought 2 TE cabs, a 400watt and 200watt (both 8 Ohm) in very good condition from Ebay both together worked out £475 about $930. I don't have that much money left lol but i have enough for the AH500-7. But now i have just read reviews on the Ashdown 600H and for the price seems quite good. As you have probably discovered i'm not really a gear person so i would really appreciate some professional help on making a decision.

Thanks
