Hi, I'm an overzealous bassist (aren't we all?). I play whenever I get the chance and will play any type of music; however, I'm not into listening to country. I'm in a band at my college. We just stared 2 weeks ago so we're nameless haha, but we have 3 songs already w/ lyrics for all except the last. We are Christians and that is greatly reflected in our lyrics, but we don't want to be like many other Christian bands and merely play one style with a few chords (most music by Christian bands is uncreative boring mess).
And the reason I got into bass? To shut my friends up. Most of my friends are music lovers and they all expected me to play an instrument. At the time, I hated music (due to a then inexperienced vocal family member haha), but now I can't get enough. The irony.... |
