Hi everybody,
just signed in here, but been a dirty lurker in the past

Having shopped a bass, joining the dark side, I though it was about time to show up.
I'm primarily a guitar player, into styles like progressive extreme metal (geez, those style names..) and good solid 80/90's hardrock, trying my way into progressive jazz fusion of sorts..
Late december I shopped a Wolf 7-stringer from HK on the bay.
I knew of Wolf, and had read varied comments, mostly farily good, wathed/listened to a vid of almost the same model, and decided to give it a go.
Having enough expenses on the guitar side of life, I can't shop an expensive brand.
Nice surprice.. 7-ply maple/rosewood neck, high quality ebony board, ash/bubinga wings, Wilkinson tuners, ABT single bridges, Kent Armstrong pups, good active EQ.
At €450, I'd be an a.. complaining. Upper horn needs a small extension and lower horn outer cut/hipshot moved an inch - both for balance, else just needed a setup, all doable things..
Currently tuned B...E on factory inst. Olympia strings, will be restrung for F#...C when I find the right strings - which my first postings in here will be about, hehe
Using an A/DA MB-1 as pre, not in a band, playing home.
Bass rig hardly complete, so I'll likely just route the MB-1 through my Lexicon MPX G2 for more juice. We'll see..
Else I hang out a lot over at adadepot.com and sevenstring.org
