Is it me or does any onelse who owns this bass in Nirvana black find that it scratches like a bitch, u mean dont get me wrong its an AWESOME bass but it looks bad with all the dents in it just because of ur nail resting in which digs into the wood and the Slap and Pop, the pop bit that makes ur nail catch and scrap the wood....its bad like, can someone plz tell how much it would to get the bass body restrored...or get give a varnish coat or somthing??

Thanks, Jack

Bare wood can do this, had exactly the same problem with an Ibanez SR500. The indentations can be 'lifted' using a damp cloth and an iron, best bet would be to get a Luthier to do it and then a thin clear coat. Hope that helps.
