Hello Chaps!

Not really a bassist. i dabble, badly, on an old Maya.

I am Drummer of many long years
I've joined this forum mainly to talent scout, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where few percussionists have gone before.”
- Hoping the waters aren't too hostile

Presently in Birmingham ENGLAND.
Looking to meet a reliable bass player in the area, or maybe several for diverse projects.

My last bassist left town suddenly but keeps calling me, always from different numbers and always to ask if anyone unfamiliar has been asking about him. I think I preferred his hair the original colour too...

Well let it be... I'm not so new on this forum, because I'm getting alot of info from it for a pretty long time, but I don't post because I don't have anything to add (I'm pretty new bass guitar world). So I play bass for about 2 years now, I play in a pagan metal band and I enjoy it alot. I'm really want to improve my playing because I suck big time. Any advices?

(sorry for my poor english).

Hi all,

I am new here, after having lurked around some quite some time. I am a pharmacist by day, semi-pro player by night. Right now, my band is doing great, i am looking forward to go on the road again. main basses are gibson Thunderbird and a 1969 very beaten fender jazz and a electric double bass. Amps: studio and rehearsal: Ampeg 1962 SB12 and aguilar DB680; Road: Aguilar DB680 into EBS Fafner into marshall 212 cab.
cheers

J
