What does OPen_Tuna mean?

So, I am new here . . . wherever "here" is.

I've come on message boards before without doing these introductions and sometimes, it seems some members were offended. I don't want to offend. I'm not easily offended either . . . it's a message board.

I'm mainly a guitar player. Well, I'm actually a singer first, then player next. I've played guitar and bass in bands in the past, and always sang.

I just "re-discovered" guitar by learning "open tunings," hence the name.

I'm thinking about buying a bass and amp, so I'm here primarily for research.

If the past is any indication of how I post, uh, sometimes it's flat out technical and serious, and then sometimes it's absurd and comical (at least that's my attempt). I hope that the difference can be determined by context; if not, just ask.
