Hi

huge Jaco & Clarke fan
I'm playing on a Squier Jazz Bass (cheap as hell and has a great sound to it)

That's about it...for now

Welcome, mdc.

Just wanted to say that Jaco's actual quote is "It's not bragging if you CAN back it up."

Just thought I'd mention it.

If you want to get technical, it's not really a Jaco quote. Lots of people said it, I can't remember the first, Dizzy something or other, I don't know. This is what my Writer's Craft teacher told me, so I'll ask him tomorrow.

Dizzy Dean, baseball player from...the 30's, I believe. He said it first. Jaco used it, so did Ali.

Plus there's already someone on this board with that quote as a sig. Incorrectly referenced too.

I mean he referenced it to Jaco, when it isn't Jaco who first said it. Gotta give credit where credit is due you know.
