why hello there.

ick, I do not like first posts...
I'm really nothing spectacular yet, nor do I know many of the bass terms and so on yet, so I don't know if I'll be posting here much...

but anyway. I'm Emi. I'm a 17 year old girl from Eugene, OR, who's been playing for a bit over a year and a half. bass is just a lot more fun to me than guitar seems like it would be, I think a lot of people here will understand that. I'm kind of your typical bass player in terms of personality -- the one who's usually early or on time, reliable, and is fairly quiet/shy.
right now, I'm talking with a guy via e-mail from a small band in my area who needs a bassist for it, and so far from what I told him about my playing said that I should work, but I know I'm not in the safe zone yet. especially since they're boys in their 20's and I'm a teenage girl. but even so, wish me luck?
my other hobbies include digital art (my deviantART is in my profile) and video games, and I have 3 cats.
