Has anyone here installed one of AC guitar's preamps into their G&L? I'm seriously considering it. Please let me know what you thought.
Thanks to all

Hi
You might be better asking in this thread.

ACG onboard preamp (ACG/John East design)

I have someone talking about putting one in to his G&L but not done so so far.

I don't know about the ACG, but I've got an L2500 Trib with an Audere 3ZB and it really opened up the tone. The treble adds clarity with no harshness and the overall tone is more present.

I bought and fitted a J Retro kit to my L2500 Tribute, the problem was that I didn't know how to fit a series parrellel switch so I put a blue LED where it should have been. Anyone any Ideas as I would like one on my USA L2500 if I fitted a J-Retro kit.
