Hi,

I'm interested in ordering my first G&L bass, but I can't find a 2008 price list anywhere.

If you have any info please let me know!

Thanks.

I have the one from mid 2007. If someone can verify that this is current, I'll send it to you.

Mike

You just want the list price for the models? See below. If you want the WHOLE list, send me your email address and I'll shoot it to ya. There are an assload of options available that you might be interested in and that I'll too lazy to type out. On top of that (and depending on your purchase window), G&L has had special runs of particluar basses that you won't find on the list. Spalted top ASATs come to mind, as well as a limited run of L-1000's (these are still available, but I don't think you have much time). With all of that in mind, here are the list base prices for the 8 models:

ASAT $1700
ASAT Semi Hollow $2000
JB-2 $1600
L-1500 $1500
L-1505 $1700
L-2000 $1700
L-2500 $1850
SB-2 $1500

To give you an idea of actual street price, I recieved a quote on a JB-2 mid summer and it came in at around $1050 for the base.

Here's a link to the list price of the "assload of options" mentioned.

Wow, prices have gone up, like everything else. Glad I got my factory-ordered ASAT (with an assload of options) in '03.

I think a good way to compute is the list less about 30%-That should get you in the ballpark, and I'll state this-

A new G&L bass is worth every penny they charge; they are a bargain. They hang in quality and build with...
anything.
Co-sign that!

Ooops. I stopped referring to that price list because it still had old prices last fall. I guess I should have checked again before offering to email mine. Thanks.

i just ordered a G&L L2500 late last month from buffalo brothers, i searched for the best prices, and they are the best in my opinion, i got my G&L L2500 for $1277 with hard case and that includes shipping, if i had gotten alder instead of ash wood, it would have been $1249 for all that, and they have a very good trade up policy probably the best i have ever seen, talk to John in the bass dept. he is awesome.
