asat bass options

Sign in to disble this ad
Years ago I played an asat bass at Buffalo Brothers in San Diego, it wa the best bass I ever played. I didn't buy it. Months later, another online poster told me they had played it and it was a modded electronically bass. Anyone know what this might be, all the options I see on their page are non electronic.

Was probably me. They had a butterscotch ASAT that had a wiring anomaly.

What it had was the series/parallel switch rather than switch both pickups to either/or it switched one series and the other parallel then flip it to change one parallel and the other series.

Never saw one since like that but I'm sure Dave or Karl could figure a way to do it.
