bad set-up's on l-2000 tribbies?

Just wandering, but I just bought a l-2000 tribbie about 3 months ago and I had alot of fret buzz toward the head end of the neck. I had the bass set-up by a pro and the bass sounds great. I was told that a-lot of the tribbies tend to have set-up problems. What do you guys think?

I got mine about a year and a half ago and I havent changed the set up at all. Action is pretty low and I havent had any problems with the neck. It was also shipped from California to the seller and then to me. I never felt the need to adjust anything. Buzzing on the lower register is something I always find when using roundwounds. I switched to flats and its like any buzzing or dead spots are gone. try it....

You take any bass and get it perfectly set in one climate, lets say cold and dry, then ship it somewhere warm and humid and very soon as the wood adjusts the setup will appear to have "problems".

If it can be reset there is nothing inherently wrong. Ya got climate conflict.
