I really want that new all black SB-2.

I dont seem to find too many places online that carry them.

Can anyone point me in some directions?

Matt who owns Guitar Man in NY says he has some of the SB-2 and JB-2 Tributes coming.

They just debuted at NAMM last weekend so nobody would have them yet since G&L was taking orders at the show.

I'm sure all the big G&L dealers snagged a couple but they are not in hand yet.

OKLAHOMA VINTAGE GUITAR

Well, that's closer to my local economy, but they have a good reputation.

I just bought one from Bass Northwest (www.bassnw.com). Very pleasant shopping experience.

Even though Oklahoma Vintage is close to my local economy, I do not recommend them.

I have had much better service from Dave at guitaradoptions.com or Matt at Guitarman NYC (mentioned earlier in this thread) than anywhere else.

Guitar Adoptions

I've bought a couple of G&L's from Dave at GuitarAdoptions.com, and he has always been really cool to deal with.

I bought a L2500 Tribute, but I'm sure they can order you anything you need. Drop them a line. Nice guys to deal with.

But you will have to pay sales tax. And most of the time you can get free shipping on Basses if you ask.

Maybe your experience with Bobby will be better than mine, but I'll never step foot in that place again. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.

I didnt even know this place existed, right under my nose! I honestly dont care who I get it from or if I have to pay sales tax or not.

I hate our guitar center. Dancing Dragon seems to be a little light on bass gear, same with most of the other guitar shops too, lone wolf, etc. It's always fender gear and some low-end GK backline stuff.

I have yet to venture to Norman music. They are always extremely helpful over the phone and if they dont have the product they are always willing to order it.

Talking G&L's from Oklahoma Vintage Guitar

I have bought two G&L Basses from Oklahoma Vintage Guitar / Best Price Guitar over the past two years. Not only did they have the best selection but also the best set-up and service after the sale. They told me they were the Largest G&L dealer in the world and I believe it. The last time I was at their store there must have been at least 30 USA G&L Basses. I am sure there are lots of qualified dealers out there but I will continue going to the guys in OKC.

I'm glad you got good service there. Quite the opposite for me Although they do have a great selection. There are are just too many good dealers who want my money, to mess with one that treats me poorly.

The best prices I have found on G&L are at www.guitaradoptions.com He has them on the web, call him and he'll quote a better price. He's in the midwest. Quick delivery no tax.

Don't forget Buffalo Brothers (http://www.buffalobrosguitars.com). They are a large G&L dealer, and great folks with excellent prices, and The Best Trade-in policy in the business!!
