black/red swirl

Hey gents, I saw a sb2 on ebay with a black/red swirl paint job. when was this color available? Can anybody post some pics of basses this color? It got me to thinking how cool that color would look with a pearloid pickgaurd and a bound and blocked (with pearl blocks) maple neck.
