Question Differences between #6 and #8 necks other than fingerboard radius?

Are there differences between the #6 and #8 necks, other than the fingerboard radius? Yes of course I searched, very much so.

I believe they are exactly the same apart from fretboard radius.

is the smaller radiused neck a touch thicker front to back? seems with more curve, the smaller radiused neck would have a little more meat behind the fret board..

That's been my experience with the #6 neck. A little thicker, more round contour.

so the 1 3/4" #5 neck, with 7 1/2" radius is the baseball bat neck that i crave?
