Differences Between the S-500 and Legacy?

Sign in to disble this ad
I know that these aren't basses, but I'm GASing for a G&L guitar this time around (I love my USA L-2000. It's most certainly my favorite bass, and I'm just amazed by the quality for the price).

Anyway, I wonder what the specific differences in the sound of these two models is and whether G&L produces a uniform width scalloped fret neck for either of these models.

Hi Hesham,

First, for more indepth, and more general G&L guitar info, check out the GbL. The folks there know more about G&Ls than you would believe.

2nd, G&L does not offer any scalloped fretboards. As for the future, who knows? As for uniform width, I don't know what this means, so I can't comment.

And as BigBee said, the different pups give you a different sound. That is the only functional difference between the guitars. The rest is cosmetics.

Take care,

edg
