So...red basses with white pearloid guards just get me.
So, I started messing with my old first gen SB2.
This is rough, and still don't hit me right, but what do you think?

Looks interesting to me, so I say try it. I think it would look better if it matched the lower horn shape more closely. That's a little off, and might be why it doesn't hit you quite right. And I dig white pearl on red too -- have it on my 2001 Am. Ser. HH Strat.
