El Toro switching...?

The pup switch I get: neck/both/bridge.
Preamp switch I get: off and on.
But the middle switch...what exactly is that? Series/Parallel? Single/Dual Coil? Some kinda OMG mode there?
Is it right that the "big voice" option there kill the pup selector? Cause that what mine seems to do...
If it is..bummer, cause the bridge pup in series would be killer...ya know?

I'm not exactly sure what that switch does, but yes it does kill the p/u selector switch when in "boost" mode.
