Bought this off a UK Basschatterlast week.I've been after one a while.
This one has the birdseye neck and ebony board option. also has a 3 way selector switch and a tone pot but I may change this to vol/tone for each pickup at a later date.
really love this bass, absolutely mint, great looking and great playing.
happy days!

Beautiful! Now start digging into that thing. Hard! Just make sure others have somewhere to run for cover.

Thats a lot of birdseye. Very nice! I think it would look really good with a tort guard.

I have a concentric stackpot setup on the 51 Precision 5 string I built.
It's "not all that," and pretty counterintuitive to use.

I'd highly recommend a stacked v/v pot, and a tone pot instead, and ditch the pup switch. This will allow you many more tasty sonic options.

thanks all!

Chef, will take your advice.I realise I've got 3 sounds when I should have limitless ones, never felt my Asat lacking without 2vols or a continous pan but I guess the SB-2 is a whole different animal.
I fancy a black pearloid PG,do I get order one from Jeannies or just go through my local shop/FCN here in the UK?Once I have that I'll have my tech do the necessary work.

cheers

komp
