Finish choice on new Tribute?

Sign in to disble this ad
It's a guitar, but what am I gonna do, join a guitar forum? I don't think so....

I'm selling my Standard Strat to get a new G&L Tribute S-500. I'm trying to decide which finish to order. What do you think and why?

Fingerboard would be maple on all of them - I couldn't find a pic of black covers with a maple board.

The blueburst, maple fretboard, and pearly pickguard are a nice combo. Personally, I don't dig the aethetics of maple fretboards with 3-tone/tobacco bursts.

Hmmmm. I do like sunburst & tort. I also really like the blueburst.

But I'm always partial to this combo:

Is Cherryburst an option for you? I just picked up a signed Legacy Tribute for $500 on Ebay and she looks very nice with the maple fret board. Was a real bargain.
