G&L aluminum post tuners

Sign in to disble this ad
Where can I get a set of the aluminum post tuners? Will G&L sell them? Are they made by Schaller(BM) or Hipshot (HB1)?
Are they significantly less weight than the steel post model or only slightly lighter? Hipshot website has minute detail about the dimensions but no weight listed.
Anybody have a right handed bass set for sale?
Thanks

Going straight brass to tapered aluminum drops 4 oz off your headstock.

Another way to put it: my SB-2 came through with chromed tuners. My ASAT has aluminum. They both balance about the same. That 4 oz. does make a difference when you hang it 2 ft. out there.
