Some of the finishes we see here I can't seem to find on the site.

Are they discontinued or is it a special order?

For example, the beautifulbeautifulbeautiful purple LB-100 which is owned by a fellow TBer

Yeah. Metallic purple is one of my favorite finishes. G&L did a very good job with it and it's unfortunate that they took it off. I know purple isn't one of the most popular finishes, but it's gotta be more popular than some of the others that they still have there.

You mean a new one? Highly unlikely.

You mean finding an old one? Highley unlikely, but not impossible.

Too bad it's discontinued, the purple is just too sweet. Those are (were) my basses in that pic. Of the four there, only the purple remains 'cos it was the best player. The cool paint job is a bonus.

A better pic, but the color is tough to capture, it's much more 'purpley' in person.

There was a purple/maple SB-2 on the local Houston craigslist that I passed on earlier this year. So there is at least one in that combination out there somewhere . . .

If there's a purple SB-2 out there then I'd definitely want it. If anybody considers getting rid of any purple G&L then they should PM me.

Just the purple is gone, the others are still available....

Emerald Green
Belair Green
3-T burst

Oh, and those are SB-1's up there, not LB-100's.

Actually the swirl finishes are discontinued. I know you were referring to the greens someone else mentioned, but just clarifying. And man, do I love your SB-1.
