| It would be interesting to check the neck and body dates on that bass. G&L date stamps the neck and body inside the joint. While the two dates are not likely to be the same, they would most likely be close if the bass came from the factory that way. From the pickups and controls, it appears to be an L-2000 which is an excellent bass. As far as I know there is no difference in the L-1000 and L-2000 necks other than the decal.
As far as price, some of the older G&Ls are hitting "vintage" status and value is improving somewhat. Are you looking to sell the instrument?
