can anybody help me with my L2000,when did leo fenders signature appear on the headstock of these guitars and for how long?also did the early ones have the plate underneath the volume tone controls?

The signature was dropped after Leo's death.

I have 2 L-1000's with the plate under the controls. My 2KE has a plate in the body.
