If this is the case, you'd be covered. If out of warranty, the bass can be repaired by G&L but it will be expensive. Of course, you can also have a good luthier make you a new neck to your specs. G&L Support contact info.

No I'm not the original owner.

I've successfully swapped Trib necks (L2K->JB2 and vice versa) but have not looked at swapping a Trib and US neck.
There can be bolt/screw pattern & number issues (3-bolt vs. 6-bolt vs. 4-bolt) requiring redrilling as well.

Ken... | I guess they simply don't offer those apart from bodies, which sucks as I wouldn't mind swapping my #7 for something tinner...

I'm just glad I won't have to spend hundreds on a new neck!
