Question G&L legacy bass neck

Sign in to disble this ad
HI friends,

I bought a maple electric bass neck.
The headstock says 'G&L Legacy' 'made in usa'. It has 20 frets, like vintage fender basses, but most G&L necks have 21 frets.
I was looking on Ebay and some web page. The neck looks like a vintage G&L early 80's (I found L1000, SB-!, SB-2), but I havent found any about the Legacy model.
It looks like one of the first models of G&L.
Does it exist?

Thanks and best regards

As Coop pointed out Greg's site has the details.

The first G&L bass FYI was the L-1000. The one in the middle is from the first year or two.

The Legacy Bass turned into the LB-100 about mid-product run. They are basically the same bass, but there were different pickups used on the basses as well.

Here's my LB-100
