G&L Tribute 2500 - Midnight Blue

I saw a 4 string picture of her (L2K) posted on the G&L thread, and I just haven't been able to get my mind off of her ever since. I think I'd go for her sister with the 5 strings (2500). Tell me more about these basses, cause that's all I could think about all day. I have a Warwick Corvette fretless 4 and I'm just not into the fretless thing, plus am not really into the "Warwick sound". I'm thinking that a Tribby like that would make me pretty happy.

Hey, if you're still looking at this thread, I'm the extremely proud owner of a Tribute L2500 Blueburst and can only say "Do It!".

Big, warm, mean, sexy, rockin' - and that's just the sound!

I'm unlikely to look at another bass for a very long time...

I'm pretty sure that blueburst is an available color in the Tribute line. Go for it. The L-2500 has accurately been called a "tone laboratory". I have 2 USA L-2500s and love 'em.

I have a really nice Sadowsky that stays home while me and my L-2500s are away at gigs. They are that good. It's so cool to be able to instantly go from smooth vintage tones to modern to aggressive to serious grind. Whatever you need, it's in there.

blueburst

This is my Trib. L-2500. I also have a Fender jazz and p-bass that I never play anymore. I had it setup and a bone nut put on. Plays like a dream now!
