Several players over at the dudepit have been getting into the L5000 lately. You might want to check over there. I used to own one that was clearfinish with rosewood board. It hadle the sickle headstock instead of the regular G&L style headstock. Great sounding basses especially the low B was killer. The stringspacing was kind of tight though 16mm I think. I sold mine before I knew that they had only make 400 of them. Should have held on to it.

They are not common but flip pretty often since the neck is a standard 1 3/4 width and the spacing is pretty narrow compared to a regular 5ver.

I found it easy as pie to adapt to.

Mine is not gonna flip.

I think I've had 3 of these over the years? Just traded a mint one on the 'pit and have another VERY lightweight sunburst/rosewood one out at Dr. Dolan's for some tweaking....
