Good Place to get a nicer case for L2000?

My OHSC is falling apart, and I would like to get a reasonable case that has a compartment for storing things - cables, picks, rags, etc. Any brand that is particularly good, and is reasonably priced (100 - 150)? Will the G&L fit Fender, Lackland, EBMM, etc? They all look pretty similar, but I am not sure about height, width. Thanks for the help. I don't want to spend a lot, I would almost rather get another guitar, and make do with a gig bag, but I don't want my guitars getting banged up.

your G&L dealer can order you a G&G brand tolex case with a little G&L tag by that handle. That's what i have for both of mine. i think i paid $110 for it.

I don't have a dealer here in Pcola. I guess I can check with the local music stores, but they carry mostly Fender. I will google the G&G brand though and see what I come up with. Thanks.

G&G makes Fender cases as well. I would probably go with an SKB case, because they usually have more storage space.

I was looking at the SKB cases at Musician's Friend - the L-2000 will fit in them well? The rectagular case in particular looked like it had plenty of storage space. Any idea of how heavy they are?

An SKB should be lighter than the wood case G&G cases. If it'll fit a fender jazz or p, it should fit the L2000. I have an L2500 Trib that fits in most any "standard" case.

Both of my G&L's have an SKB style case. So I imagine it will fit in one, Order from MF and you'll have 45 days to return it if it doesn't.

if i'm not mistaken the cases that come with G&L's are SKB cases, they just have the G&L Logo molded into them instead of SKB. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

My ASAT was sent with a TKL case in leiu of the OEM case (they lost the factory one). It is still a molded plastic unit but is a fair bit sturdier than OEM. I'd prefer a wood case like my Modulus or an Anvil-type for the ultimate protection.

I sure hope not. I am looking seriously at the SKB, and would find it hard to believe that SKB could offer a lifetime warranty. My feet are cracked, the whole case is sort of warped a bit, the cloth "stays" to hold the top up have the glue coming loose - and I am just a church gigger - I don't abuse this stuff at all.

I have an e-mail in to the G&G guys - I am hoping to hear from them, and I will see what they say about their equipment.
