i just got my L2000 today.

first impression - it freakin' rules.

a lot of great usable tones - i *couple* i didn't care for solo, but i bet will work great with a band. the workmanship is top notch. i went all over it, nothing wrong at all.

it's a cream (pearl white) color, with just a hint of the wood showing through. looks 10 times better in person that the pics online.

it was a new store demo, not a ding or scratch anywhere - $725

i was asking for string recommendations a couple of days ago, but for now i'm leaving the strings that came with it on.

i know it's the honeymoon, but damn, why aren't more people playing these?

i have a fender am. p & j and a lakland 4-94, so it's not my first quality bass.

this thing is the poop!

For $725, it's a steal.

thank you - these pics don't do it justice, but i wanted more of a "plain jane" bass. i was surprised how nice it looks. it's mo darker in person.

i just got back from the in-laws for christmas. i played it through my swr bass 350 before i left. tomorrow i'm taking out to church and play through th 400+....can't wait!
