How Dark will GOT get?

Any G&L GOT Vets,

Who may have a "seasoned" GOT Maple FB/neck bass, say 20 years old or so. I have a 30 or so year old Guild B-302A, Natural Ash that was very "Blonde" when I got her back in the day, now she's very close in "shade", if you will, to the new GOT finish on maple that G&L offers. Did I mention I do have a thing for the whole vintage vibe? Anyway, I was just wondering when I get my new L2K GOT Maple FB Dream Bass this year, in ten years will the neck be looking like it's 100 years old (really really dark, not even gold anymore)? Or does the GOT finish pretty much keep it's shade pretty well say after 20 years (assuming that G&L has done GOT that long of course). Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks again,
