How does an SB-2 handle BEAD tuning?

We tune a half step lower and I tune BEAD, so that makes BbEbAbDb... Anyone know how the pickups handle the lower tuning? And how does a B string sound, play, feel on an SB-2?

And what does an SB-2 usually wheigh?

Maybe a mod could mold them together in a bigger thread.

You think one of the bigger necks 5, 6 or 7 would handle the lower tuning better than the 8? I'm thinking this because of more mass = more low end? Yes? No?
