How rare are NAMM basses?

Took my new to me L-2000 apart the other day to see the neck stamp and lo and behold there were the words "NAMM ONLY" on the back of the neck. (1st G&L BTW and absolute love it, but I also get the ground buzz that I'm working on.... (take hands off strings she buzzes))

Still have to get some pictures of her for the G&L club.

Wondering how common these are?

To the best of my knowledge, G&L sells the content of the NAMM booth to one of its dealers once the show is over. The dealer then sells them to the public. The flame-top L-2500 shown below was in the booth at Summer NAMM 2007.
