IMPORTANT TRIBUTE NEWS

Heard today that the price of Tribs are going way up in the next couple weeks. If you've been on the fence, jump in now (you won't regret it).

I would like to know as well. This seems like interesting news because I have really been on the fence myself. If this has any weighing to it whatsoever, then I will need to move quick.

I heard the same thing from a respected G&L dealer who heard it from the horse's mouth while at NAMM... the devalued US dollar is resulting in about a $100 STREET price increase.

When I was G&L shopping, I was amazed on how much of a bargain they are for what you get. Of course, I had to get a USA because that's the kind of guy I am. But anyone looking for a decent bass for a decent price should march down right now and snap up any Trib that suits their fancy.

Wow- AMS Trib L2000 = $700! Some places still have them advertised for $550, but I wouldn't wait too long...

Are just the tribbys increasing in price or all of G&L? I wouldn't pay half the price of a US model for a trib, I'd save and get a US. At least for resale value alone.

God Bless, R.

He was right

I checked out Musician's Friend and all the tributes went up about 100 - 200 dollars at least.

Hehe - good thing I picked my JB2 off of ebay for 275 a few weeks ago...
