Where can I find a Jazz neck for my L2000 Tribute? Love this bass, just want a jazz type neck for it, thinner at the nut. Thanks!

I called G&L and asked this very same question. They do not make a 1.5 neck for the Tribute L-2000. So we're both up the creek without a paddle. The USA made L-2000's do have the 1.5 neck if you order it that way. To me that really sucks swamp water.

It does suck, but I think it's understandable. Other companies like Fender don't allow neck options for even their US made Jazz and Precision basses. You'd have to get a replacement neck.

How much is a replacement neck? Thinking about getting a 1500 and convert it to fretless...
