Just left a deposit with Guitar Man a couple of hours ago for an L-2000 with the following options:
#8 Fretted Neck
Bird's Eye Maple Fingerboard
Premium Quilted Maple Top
Cherryburst Finish
Wood Body Binding
Deluxe Tolex Case
Now the waiting begins....
I'm sure it'll be worth it though. It should look similar to this L-2500:

One was an L2500, birdseye maple neck and board, ash body with honeyburst finish on a quilt maple top. Really nice. My next one was an L2000 fretless, unlined ebony board, maple neck, ash body wiht honeyburst finish. Again, very nice.

A bird's eye maple fingerboard only. They no longer offer bird's eye maple necks. And yes, you can order gun oil tint with that. |
