Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of using steel wool and knitting a van, which would take longer and you'd have something in which to carry your equipment.

Are you still waiting for your bass?

I just ordered a 2-tone sunburst SB-2 (alder body, maple fretboard) with Bass NW, and was given an estimated delivery time of 3 months. This is a lot longer than what I read about at the beginning of the year - I guess whatever new product they will announce at NAMM is currently taking up ressources.

Luckily, I will receive a L-1000 shortly, which will keep me happy until September.

I ordered my USA SB-2 in early April, and I had it in Early May. They quoted me 8-10 weeks, and it took 4 weeks.
