L-1000 window closes in a week

Over on BABP we have had 2 special edition basses made for us by G&L and the window closes in a week on the third.

We had the LE.

The LE V which is shipping very soon..

See this thread for details if you want an L-1000 with a warranty....

I have never seen a wunkay with a #8 neck. They may exist but I've never seen one. You can have your own if you act in a week. The bodies will be Alder so coupled with the original spec thinner bodies that were reinstituted with the first LE these should be very light beasties.

Other option...

Body Finishes:
Tobacco Burst
Red Burst
Clear Blue
Candy Apple Red
Black

Fingerboards:
Fretted Maple
Fretted Rosewood
Fretless Ebony

Neck finishes:
Satin
Gun Oil Tint

Neck Dimensions:
#7 12" Radius 1 3/4" at the nut
#8 12" Radius 1 1/2" at the nut

G&L has my '80 wunkay to make comparisons to the original. However they will be rear loaded like my Honeyburst in the bottom picture. Mine will be redburst and a maple neck.

Exactly what I would have chosen had I the scratch. You always have great taste, Jim!

Bah you just lust after my SB-2.

This JB-2 pic sealed it. If they still did ebony boards I'd be on the phone to Matt.

Still do. But anything redburst is terrific. I wish they still did fretted ebony boards as well. I love the ebony board on my metallic purple L-2000.

Jim, it's cool to finally see a photo of the L2500 LE. Thanks for posting it. Any idea when these are expected to ship?
