L-2000/L-2500 with flats...thoughts?

I would love to hear from any L-2000 or L-2500 owners who are playing their basses strung with flatwounds. Any observations you have about the playability and tone are appreciated.

I picked up my L2K second-hand and it was strung with some flats. It was very playable and I think they kind of took some of the "hair" off the aggressiveness. It wasn't the sound I wanted so I restrung with DR low riders.

TI flats are great. I have Ernie Ball flats on one now (50-105). They do a great job. The bass is bright sounding to start with and the EB flats do not get lost in the mix.
