L2000 shielding?

Are the new L2000s shielded from the factory? I have read many posts about buzz, just wondering if it was still a problem.

The cavities are supposed to be shielded with paint. However, the back of the cavity cover isn't and needs to be. This pic is how I got a shield connection to the cover:

Some of the basses have the shielding paint all the way up to where you see those little copper strips. If yours is like that, all you'll need to do is apply shielding tape to the back of the cover.

My tribbie came shielded pretty well (graphite shielding). No buzz or any noise whatsoever.
