L2k pre amp

I think the L2k Preamp should allow me to plug in a set of headphones to the bass' out put jack and allow me to hear the bass. Right? I had an Ibanez SoundGear that did that but my Marcus Miller did'nt.

The opamp does not have the ability to drive enough current.
