Question Looking for a Pickguard for my Lefty L-2500

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everyone,

I just purchased a L-2500 lefty USA. It has an all ash body with maple neck and birdseye maple board. I want to put a pickguard on it. Does anyone on this board design pickguards for G&L's. If you can design a cool pickguard for a left handed 2500 that will fit nicely I will pay you for your time and supplies.

You could always try a self-adhesive pickguard. That is in my opinion the safest option.

This one here is for acoustic guitar, true, but might work well too for a leftie:

Why don't you take a piece of cardboard, cut out your pickups and shape it like you want, and put where you want the screw holes to be. When you get what you like, send it to Chandler and have them make you one.

Also, the one I mentioned, the self-adhesive pickguard, comes in a square format you just cut, and then 'glue'.

The advantage is no screw holes! So if you don't like it, or want to sell the bass in 'original' shape, you just take it out and clean.
