This is prolly old news to many, but I just happened upon a clip of Porno for Pyros on Jools Holland's show--musta been mid-90's?
Anyhow, Martyn LeNoble was playing an L2000 and holy cow it was killin'!
Nice to see a G&L out there in action even if it was an old clip. His tone was really cool--hard to describe, but sure as heck jumped outta the TV, and his playing kicked!
I need to try and get my L2500 to sound like THAT.

Well I missed Jane's Addiction, they split up before I knew them (they were not that popular in Germany), but I saw Porno for Pyros when they played a festival at the Loreley/Rhine. I remember the tone of LeNoble on their first CD, so I would not be surprised if it was a G&L. I seem to have misplaced the CD, I hope I have not lend it to someone...
