Post Master blend wiring schematic

Greatings and salutations. I am a new member to this site and damn glad I found it. I am wondering if someone can post the wiring schematic, or perhaps knows of a site with the diagram to wire a G&L Tribute JB-2 with a master blend and master volume while retaining the tone control? I will be using a 500k stacked master blend switch.. I always wanted to do this with my 66 J-bass but could never bring myself to do it. Everything being factory stock and all. Hell I don't even take it out of the house any more. I bought this G&L JB-2 for a player and am very satisfied and this is one of my players now and really want the master blend. Any and all assistance vastly appreciated. 66 Ash J-bass. 71 Ash Tele-bass 2003 Musicman-Sub new burst JB-2 tribute . And my sweet thang early 80's nitro finish SB-1 All through a Hartke 3500 and gk glk 15-20's

AFIK there is no such thing as a stacked pot with a blend control and volume. That would be a triple stack pot, as all blends are a dual stack pot. IMO blend controls do not work with passive pickups, which are what G&L's have. When you use a blend control pot with passive pickups, the volume is lower when centered, and increases as you turn the blend towards each pickup due to the loading effect that the pickups have on each other. You need to buffer the pickups in order to cancel that effect, which is why blends work better with active preamps. The G&L preamp does not buffer the pickups, it is an added circuit after the passive tone controls, which is why it can be switched off and the tone controls still work.
Ever wonder why Fender has never made a passive Jazz bass with a blend control? It's because they don't work.
