My honeymoon with the Tribby L2K is over, and:

...I'm still in love.

The neck, which some have called P-like, doesn't seem that way to me at all. My Am Standard has a beefier profile.

The pickups are perfect "ramps". I find myself able to play much faster over them.

The balance is perfect. No neck-dive.

The "inners" single-coil mod means I now also own a 2-band Stingray (my favorite kind).

Hearts and flowers.

I'm with you on that inner singles mod. My L2500 is currently set up with an Audere 3ZB pre and series/single coil/parallel switches for each pickup. I definitely plan on replacing the 3ZB with an Audere Classic 4-Band and the switches with inner singles/parallel/outer singles switches.
