Arrived today after 6 long days of waiting: my little SB-2!

The neck is rosewood, I think. It's not as dark as usual rosewood, and it appears to be a little lighter towards the G string in the upper register. I also love the white dots on the board!

I don't know if the p/g was stock or not. The previous owner sent it to me like that. I kind of like it, though.

Out of the case, the action is SUPER low. There was some residue on the body as well that some cleaning and wiping took care of. There appears to also be some rust in the bridge pickup where the little circles (magnets?) are.

It's not nearly as powerful sounding as the new one I tried at the local shop, but it is half the price. The knobs don't turn as smoothly as I'd like, either.

In any event, I'm gonna take it over to Mike Lull tomorrow and have him do a tidy little setup on it.

In the meantime, what should I use to clean up the tuners; they're terribly cloudy and dull.
