Neck only louder than neck+bridge on L2.5K?

Hi fellow G&Lers,

recently I started using neck-only pickup selection in addition to the usual bridge+neck on my L2500 and noticed that the former is louder than the latter despite the neck pickup being lower than the bridge one. At least that is the case when playing through Hartke HA3500 with EQ turned off, tube preamp knob at 2 hrs, solid state preamp knob at 10 hrs, LP contour at 12 hrs, and HP contour at 2 hrs, which is my normal configuration. Is that OK? Can that be due to some kind of miswiring?

Could be wiring. One of my L2500's is mis-wired. When I called the factory, they acted like it was common.
