G&L Bass ForumAddicts of Leo Fender's latest basses welcome here, as well as those interested in what drives the addiction to the basses from Fender Avenue.
I've got a #8 on my L2000 and absolutly love it, my favorite 4 string neck, kind of a slightly thick jazz. You can play on it all night w/o fatigue. The L2500 only comes in one size.

Same here. My SB-2 has a #6 and I love it. My ASAT has a #8 and I love it (just a bit more MM-like). My L2k has the #7 and I like it, though it is growing on me.

I agree -- no fatigue with a #8. For overall comfort I like my Am. Ser. Fenders as much, but the G&L #8 plays a little faster and cleaner thanks to the flatter fretboard radius and lower action. It's a fantastic neck, and I'm thinking about another G&L with one.
