need help w/ Climax bass/ new G&L circuit board on ebay today

Anyone out there know if the circuit boards for a climax bass are the same as other G&L bass's? There is a new board on ebay today & I'm
hoping it will work. The bass in question is a 93 Climax that the previous owner has wired it passive, thus making the pre-amp an on/off switch
I do not see a circuit board at all. I'm a new G&L owner so forgive me
for not knowing about the product line.

Hi the e bay circuits are the g&l rev 1.0, 2 of my climaxs have these in them, I purchased one as a spare, the more common seems to be the rev 1.1 these were fitted to later basses, they have a different tone, less treble I think, to wire them in go to the g&l section and someone will post up a wiring diag, its fairly east to do, this must be the red and black one that was on the bay? good luck.

This bass sounds really good, but I prefer stock electronics. Or as close to it as possible.

mmmmm...tell me about it, Ive got more than a few g&l's off the bay, badassbassplayers is a good resource for g&l players, some live here I notice, I paid $50 inc shipping to the uk.

Won the pre-amp for $28.00!! I'll be restoring the Climax soon.
My latest addition arrived yesterday, after a cleaning session, new battery, strings
& set-up, this baby's like brand new. 2002 Silver Sparkle L-2000. I'm looking forward to playing her tonight! Sounds awesome, weighs in @ a solid 10 pounds. Yikes, this one is going to hurt the old shoulder.
